Slowly but Surely...
I've just recently re-recorded the new arrangement for songs 'Destinasi Impian' & 'Pesona Rindu', bar vocal takes. The music tracks are undergoing editing and I will record vocals soon after that.
Even after this recording session, I still feel that there's so much room for me to learn about music production.
My music progress been a bit slow recently mainly due to my work commitments. Hopefully I can get to kickstart the new album as soon as possible.
On another note, it's been ages since I last did a performance. I've been approached to organise a gig/showcase by a CC. The proposal is to do an accoustic gig and gather S'pore's own talents in one venue. It's all pretty vague at the moment and the proposal's still much under construction.
Anyone who wants to contribute in any capacity, do contact me at your convenience. Maybe you could come up with ideas or performances you would like to see. All are welcome!

His Road Trip
In August 2006, a subconscious decision to be involve in a singing competition proved to be the catalyst for a life-changing event in his life. Zai was offered a recording deal that fell through.
For more than eight months, this shy and taciturn amateur musician embarked on a journey of self-discovery and learning: to write, produce and sing, in his debut mini album “KeagunganMu” which was released on 1st September 2007.
A chance encounter with Yazri (Merah) a couple of months later was another turning point in his short music career. Together, they produced a radio single entitled “Lelaki Baru” which debuted on Ria 897FM on 1st September 2008. “Lelaki Baru” was a success and Zai achieved his 1st ever No 1 hit.
Z'Baks Bio
Zaibaktian is devoted to his family and friends first in his life. “One of the most important things that my family and friends has taught me is the value of love,” he says. In his music adventure, Zai explores love as it relates to the most important facets of his life: Family, friendship and faith.
“I started from scratch,” he says, “And the most valuable experience in that is being able to consult musicians with abilities that far surpassed my own to guide me in my music journey.”
On love & life being the major driving force for his music pursuits, Zai aspire to inspire:
“In life, love exist – between God and His creations, for a man and a woman, parents and children, and even between friends,” says Zai. “It is a powerful force, not for its own sake but for how it moves the people who love and the people who are loved.” For Zaibaktian, his music adventure thus far is the fulfillment of a dream and a definite breakthrough in achieving a lifelong dream.
